Please note we unfortunately do not have parking facilities at the museum.
Audio guides are available from the front desk, for which a £1 donation is suggested.
Tours of the museum are led by our trained and knowledgeable volunteer guides. You can pre-book a tour specially for your group (£8 per head) or you can drop by for one of our regular public tours, which are free to anyone visiting the museum that day.
Pre-booked tours for groups
Find out the history of the building, its memorials and tombs, the knot garden and the wild garden and the little stories behind many of the items in our collection.
Private group guided tours cost £8.00 per head for a group of 8 or more (includes group entrance fee £5.00 and £3.00 for the guided tour) Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org, specifying the information as stated above for Group Bookings. Do also let us know if anyone in your group are wheelchair users or have any specific requirements.
Please bear in mind that we are a small museum - if your party is more than approx.15 people we may need to split you into 2 groups, so that each group gets the most out of their visit.
Our free public tours are open to anyone who has valid admission to the museum and galleries. Please ask at the front desk if you would like to join. They are scheduled as follows:
Weekly tours - Our trained volunteer guides run free tours most Wednesdays and Saturdays at 14:00. Please, ask at the front desk for more information.
Regular end-of-the-month tours - These are our regular free guided tours on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. The tours start at 14.00 and last 45 mins to an hour. The Tuesday tour includes a talk by Kay about the history of the church and the Museum, while the Wednesday tour with Judith includes some of the key items from our collection.
