Stephen Lacey - Punctuation Points, 25/04/13
Stephen chooses thirty of his photographs, and talks about the key moments, events, gardens, plants and people that have punctuated his career as a garden writer. A career that has taken him from Indonesia to Indianapolis, via Geoffrey Jellicoe, Calvin Klein, rhododendrons, parrots and old shrub roses, had him appearing as a regular roving presenter on BBC Gardeners' World for ten years, and produced a string of books including 'The Startling Jungle', 'Scent in Your Garden', 'Real Gardening' and 'Gardens of the National Trust'.
He will chart and connect the design and planting movements in Europe, America and the UK over the past 30 years, talk about his own gardening at home and abroad, and reveal which gardens of the many hundreds he has visited he considers to be the most inspirational. Introduced and chaired by Brita von Schoenaich.
