Wild Garden Weekends with Tania Pascoe 16/04/15
Since 1930, Britain has lost a staggering 97% of its traditional meadows. As a response to this major change to our natural landscape, a new wild garden movement is looking to ‘re-wild’ Britain’s nature and food. Tania Pascoe has spent the last five years charting this movement and the results is her new book Wild Garden Weekends. Tania is an experienced amateur gardener, professional sustainability consultant and best-selling author. She brings a passion for nature, biodiversity and food to her writing and practice.
In anticipation of the release of her new book, Wild Garden Weekends, we are pleased to welcome Tania to the Garden Museum. Tania will be engaging in a lively discussion about the recent trend in wild gardening, chronicling her exciting journey across Britain in search of beautiful wild gardens. On the way, Tania will share with us some of the her favourite secret gardens, wild flower meadows, kitchen garden cafes and most enchanting places to stay across the UK. Following this, Tania will be delighted to answer your questions on her career and her passion for wild gardening.
