Calling all young chefs! Join us in the Learning Kitchen this summer holiday and set off on a culinary tour of the Mediterranean. Through fun, hands-on cookery workshops, we'll discover the flavours, traditions and techniques of different Mediterranean cuisines while preparing delicious dishes inspired by the region.
Teens class: Age guide 13+ years
Morocco Menu
- Vegetable Tagine with Couscous
- Carrot & Orange salad
- Date and Almond Truffles
In all our food learning classes we learn age-appropriate knife skills, explore seasonal vegetables, and are inspired by recipes and ingredients from different cultures. After cooking our meal together, we end the class with a communal meal at the table overlooking the Museum’s courtyard garden.
Our classes are specifically designed and set-up for each age group, so please make sure you have booked onto the right one. If you have children that span different age groups but would like them to attend together, please book them into the session appropriate for the youngest child.
For the teens class, parents are required to sign our parental consent form. This can be done in advance or on arrival if dropping of your child. There is no need to stay on site during the class unless you’d like to.
