If you grow up in a city, your understanding of where food comes from is the supermarket shelf. Chefs in Schools is changing that from the inside. They place restaurant chefs into state primary and secondary schools, first to transform the food itself, then to teach kids what real food looks like, then to build growing spaces and outdoor classrooms on school grounds. This session looks at what that shift takes, what any school or community could borrow from it, and where they want to go next.

Speakers include: Nicole Pisani, Director of Chefs in Schools
