In March this year, the government’s put out its first ever Land Use Framework, setting out a vision for how we can use our land to build 1.5m new homes while still restoring nature, hitting climate targets and maintaining food production. It calls for shared stewardship, innovation and multifunctional land use. But what exactly does that mean, in practice? Can our land really stretch to meet all these different needs. Speakers include: Sheila Das, Head of Gardens and Parks at the National Trust and George Hudson, Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the Royal Horticultural Society
