Catalogue from Ryder & Son Ltd, of Holywell Hill, St Albans in Hertfordshire, dated 1953. The cover picture is by Winifred Walker (1882-1965) a noted artist who specialised in flowers and also painted for the Royal Horticultural Society. From a selection of nurserymen’s catalogues collected in 1953 by Joan & Eric Basden to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
