Studley Horticultural and Agricultural College for Women
The first college for women to study horticulture was set up in 1898 at Studley Castle by Daisy Greville, Countess of Warwick. She campaigned for female emancipation and pioneered horticulture as a career for women. This shows a lesson pruning in the walled gardens of the college.
