LEAVE A GARDENER’S GIFT
To discuss leaving a gift in your Will please contact Development Manager, Andrea Duerr, at andrea@gardenmuseum.org.uk

Leave the Garden Museum a gift in your Will and you will leave a legacy of gardening, of art and of history.

It’s our mission to explore and celebrate the art, history and design of British gardens and their place in our lives today. We want to share this with more people and bring the power of gardens to future generations. As an independent charity, less than 5% of our costs are publicly funded. We can only continue our work thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Your Gift will help to:

Protect this unique oasis for everyone, forever
Help keep our public gardens free for all, and preserve our historic home, the deconsecrated church of St Mary-at-Lambeth and the burial place of John Tradescant.

Grow the UK’s first, and only Archive of Garden Design
Help us study and celebrate the art of garden design and build a fascinating resource to inspire the gardeners of today and tomorrow.

Tell the centuries-old story of gardens and gardening
Help us save important artworks and artefacts for our collection – the UK’s only collection dedicated to the art, history, and culture of gardening.

Open the hearts and minds of young growers
Help children discover a lifelong love of nature and gardens with our learning programmes and family groups.

Nurture the next generation of gardening talent
Help fund our paid horticultural traineeships bringing new opportunities to young Londoners and attracting new talent to horticulture.

How to support the Garden Museum

There are different types of gifts that you can leave the Garden Museum. A residuary gift is a share of the value of your estate. A pecuniary gift is a fixed amount of your choice. You can choose to leave an unrestricted gift, where the museum invests your gift where we believe it will have the most impact. Or you can choose to give a restricted gift where it can only be used for a specific purpose, for example growing our collection, or helping more children learn about nature.

You can also remember a loved one by leaving a gift in their memory. If you would prefer to do this, or leave a gift in your lifetime, please contact our Development Manager, Andrea Duerr, at andrea@gardenmuseum.org.uk and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Your Will is, of course, completely private, but if you decide to support our work with a gift in your Will, we would be grateful if you could let us know. This means we can thank you personally and let you know about the difference your support will make.

To remember the Garden Museum in your Will, please use our charity details:
