Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint

First prize

One lucky winner of our 2026 Garden Museum Raffle will win a night’s stay for two people in the historic Tudor manor house where Cedric Morris lived, painted and gardened, inspiring a generation of artists and horticulturists. While the newly revived walled garden opens to visitors for the first time this summer, our raffle prize-winners will be the lucky few to enter the house itself.

Second prize

A Benton End bouquet of iris rhizomes ready to plant in your garden – picked by Head Gardener James Horner and grown at Benton End. The selection will include varieties bred and named by Cedric, Benton Menace, Benton Opal and Benton Duff (sometimes known as Primrose) — a chance to bring a piece of Benton End’s extraordinary legacy into your own garden.

Third prize

A Benton End exhibition hamper, packed with goodies including a books from the Benton End library, a Cedric Morris print, C. Atherley Geranium No.1 Gift Set, and a sachet of Cedric Morris sweet pea seeds.
