Institute I (1993), Sabine Moritz
German artist Sabine Moritz explores the dynamics of memory and time in her work, with gardens and motifs from nature featuring heavily. Still life works serve as a way for Moritz to engage with her past, while establishing a connection to the present. Flowers include roses, lilies and chrysanthemums, while individual trees and entire landscapes flow into her abstract, pictorial worlds.
In partnership with Pilar Corrias.
