This workshop is part of the Garden Museum's Branch Out programme, a series of free events and activities exploring gardening, art, floristry, plant science, history, design, and more!

Would you like to take part in an exciting opportunity to make cherry blossoms for an installation at the museum, in April 2026, which celebrates the arrival of spring?

Learn how to make Korean Mandus (dumplings), using naturally dyed Korean silk organza. You can wrap a message or wish inside one of your mandus which will be strung together and included in the final installation.

All the fabrics are provided. Sewing level, easy. Hand stitching only.
