Step into the world of Cedric Morris with an unforgettable night at Benton End, the top prize in our 2026 Garden Museum raffle, inspired by our exhibition 'Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint'.

Benton End in Hadleigh, Suffolk is the former home of celebrated artist and gardener Sir Cedric Morris (1889–1982) and his lifelong partner, artist, Arthur Lett-Haines (1894–1978).

Whether you work with brush and canvas or a spade and secateurs, inspiration awaits amongst the rare plants collected and bred by Cedric Morris, and now returned to Benton End after decades of careful custodianship by friends, collaborators and fellow gardeners. This remarkable garden inspired a generation of artists, gardeners and creatives, including Lucian Freud, Maggie Hambling, Beth Chatto and Elizabeth David – you could be next!

The star prize is a night’s stay at Benton End for two guests, with a private tour of the recently revived Walled Garden, created in collaboration between Head Gardener James Horner and Sarah Price Landscapes, a reimagining radically different from Morris’s own, yet true to his spirit.

The first runner up will receive a Benton End bouquet of iris rhizomes (tubers), bred and grown by Cedric himself, and carefully removed by Head Gardener, James, ready to plant in your own garden.

A second runner up will win a Benton End: Paint and Pollen Exhibition Hamper, a beautifully curated collection designed to bring the magic of Benton End home with you.

Each ticket is an entry to the prize draw; the more entries, the better your chance of winning!

Every penny raised from the raffle supports the Garden Museum and Benton End to inspire future generations of artists and horticulturists.
