We offer free entry to the Garden Museum for Lambeth community organisations. Approved groups receive Neighbour Cards granting access to exhibitions, the permanent collection, and the gardens — making the Garden Museum accessible for all.

Community organisations need to apply to the Garden Museum to become part of the scheme.

Our annual summer celebration welcomes Neighbour Card holders and Lambeth residents to enjoy free themed activities, exhibitions, and family-friendly events—fostering community spirit in a fun, inclusive setting. In 2024, the theme was ‘Moths and Butterflies’ which was reflected across our activities.

We believe in the healing power of creativity and nature. Through multi-sensory, nature-based activities, we support wellbeing and social connection, inviting participants to explore gardens and exhibitions in a welcoming environment with refreshments to encourage sharing and friendship.

Our Community Panel brings together local organisations and individuals to consult on museum programming and events, ensuring the Garden Museum reflects and serves its diverse community.
