This year’s exhibition theme is inspired by artist plantsman Cedric Morris and his naturalistic garden packed with rare plants and ‘Benton’ irises at Benton End, which is also the subject of our summer exhibition Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint.
The week will also include a Late and Panel Talk on Thursday 18 June, a chance to hear from the designers themselves and mingle among the flowers with a drink in hand, live music and floral activities.
Our annual British Flowers Week exhibition at the Garden Museum is part of a national British Flowers Week campaign. Founded in 2013, British Flowers Week 2026 aligns with the UN’s International Year of the Woman Farmer. Organised by the campaigning trade association, Flowers from the Farm, the event spotlights innovative growers, highlighting entrepreneurial women leading the UK’s flower sector, the festival shares new data showing increased demand for local blooms.
